Overview

As we approached the end of 2021, many of us were optimistic about 2022. Vaccination rates were accelerating and there were signs of cautiously returning to some pre-pandemic normality. Yet, Omicron, inflation, rising energy prices, supply chain disruptions and other challenges brought the year to a close with much more uncertainty than anyone would have liked. As we have entered 2022, the lack of global leadership that characterises our growing “G-Zero” power vacuum is clearer than ever.

If our recent past has taught us anything, it’s that we need to prepare for the unexpected and be ready to pivot. In that spirit, please join the Institute of Directors and KPMG for a presentation given by Stefano Moritsch, Associate Director of the Eurasia Group, for a presentation and discussion of KPMG’s Bottom Line for Business of Eurasia Group’s Top Risks 2022. Attendees will:

  1. Gain insights into Eurasia Group’s top 10 geopolitical risks, for 2022, and their relevance to business operations as identified by KPMG Global Geopolitics.

  2. Benefit from ideas that may help organisations anticipate and navigate these challenges.

  3. Join a Q&A session to learn from KPMG Geopolitics and share with peers at the Institute of Directors.
